This organisation was formed by companies with experience in Tokyo&#8217;s sewage facilities sector, with the aim of supporting the city&#8217;s sewage infrastructure projects and enhancing the technical and social standing of the industry. The first president was <b>Seiji Hatakeyama<\/b>, then President of <b>Ebara Corporation<\/b>, and the association initially consisted of 20 member companies.<\/p>\n<p>The office was first established on the 4th floor of the Sanko Mori Building, 1-3-1 Atago, Minato-ku. The association engaged in various activities, including submitting proposals to relevant organisations, training and educating engineers, researching and advising on labour safety measures, collecting and providing information on sewage projects, and hosting lectures and training sessions. In January 1982, the association launched its official journal, <b>&#8220;Sewerage Facilities&#8221;<\/b>. Finally, on <b>3rd April 1984<\/b>, the association received official recognition from the Governor of Tokyo as the <b>Tokyo Sewage Facilities Association<\/b>, marking the establishment of the organisation. This date has since been designated as the association\u2019s founding anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>The first president, <b>Seiji Hatakeyama<\/b>, continued his leadership from the voluntary organisation. Later, on 3rd September 2008, the office moved to its current location on the 13th floor of Shinjuku Mitsui Building No.2, 3-2-11 Nishi-Shinjuku.<\/p>\n<p>Following reforms in the <b>Public Interest Corporation System<\/b>, the association transitioned into a <b>General Incorporated Association<\/b> on <b>1st April 2012<\/b>, continuing its activities to this
